In Memory
(of Elliot Watson Stewart)

A Note from Elliot’s parents:

“On September 19th 2024 we found out that the little person we were expecting was made different and would not be able to survive once he arrived. God has continued to remind us that, even despite the corruption of sin, He formed Elliot in the womb, made just right for God’s greater plans. He entrusted Elliot to us as the parents he needed. The Lord surrounded us with support from all sides and has comforted us in such deep grief. His promise that He will be a God to us and to our children, and that all He did was for them no less than for us, has brought so much peace and an everlasting hope that Elliot is now safe and made whole in the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ.”

A Note from Friend of Job:

Ever since we heard about Elliot’s condition and his parents’ decision to carry him to term, we grieved their situation, admired their courage, and prayed for their strength. It takes faith to be aware of a coming loss, a great grief, and then to willingly embrace it from afar. Elliot was born at 9:45pm on Monday, January 27, 2025, and passed peacefully the following day at 1:10am. We believe his parents honored God in their experience with their son. And we want to honor them, their family, and that experience by sharing Brandon’s sketch. May the Lord continue to mend their hearts, and may He fulfill His words from 2 Corinthians 1:3-5.
