Note from the artist:

I learned about art therapy in 2024, during an informal breakout session at a church retreat. A sister in Christ shared with a group of us about collage making, provided some beautiful examples, and then let us run amok with our creativity. I personally enjoy simplicity, symmetry, and clarity—and so, I consider this first attempt at a collage only a modest, albeit still earnest, push to blend different colors schemes, themes, and typography. Doing so felt like a tangible way to give up control over over the finished product.
